I would love this. After the S1 finale I was kinda surprised/disappointed that we never saw Walter potentially be anxious about fast cars, and it makes just as little sense that Toby wouldn't have lingering issues about his kidnapping. That suggestion you gave would be so easy for the show to facilitate and would have so much potential for flashbacks.

^ Gosh YES! That sort of experience is a bound to cause PTSD or something like it, even in the most stable of personalities, and I don't think Toby's genius would protect him from that. But they could do a lot with having him think he could deal with it himself - self-diagnosis and self-treatment.

Yes! This would make for such an interesting storyline. And I agree, he would totally try to deal with it on his own, at least initially. After all, this is the same guy who suggested that he could handle his and Happy's premarital counseling himself.

I would like to have it come up again and have him admit he's been internalizing it since it happened - that would at least explain why it's barely come up in this period.

My favorite line of Sci Hard was definitely, “Good luck, baby. I’m gonna keep my fingers crossed for you.”

I love that he decided in the end that he's far more scared of Happy than he is of robbing a bank!

Also, how many times are we going to see Toby without his trousers on this season???

Happy clearly wears the pants in that relationship - figuratively and literally.

I loved that we got a little tidbit about Toby’s childhood in Sci Hard, even if it was mostly for comedic effect. I’m hoping that the writers will explode Toby’s childhood and relationship with his parents further as he and Happy start their own family.

Me too. We know so little and with all the build-up to the wedding last season I had high hopes for at least an appearance by an aunt or cousin who might give us some more information, but we got nothing of the sort.

Yeah, my biggest complaint with the wedding was the absence of their families. We know so little about Toby’s background and it would have been the perfect opportunity to learn more. And, as much as I loved Cabe walking Happy down the aisle, I was sad that Patrick wasn’t there.

I love that we got a chance to see Toby in his psychiatrist mode with Cabe. It was a good to see him showing real concern - and gently nudging Cabe to open up.

Yes, it was wonderful (brought tears to my eyes, in fact! ) and I can't wait to see more of this unfolding in the coming weeks.

That was a great scene. I’ve loved Toby and Cabe’s relationship ever since Cuba Libre when Cabe took Toby out for burgers to cheer him up. They like to tease each other, but they’re both there when the other needs them. Hopefully we’ll see a lot more of these two in the coming weeks.

Toby knew exactly what to say and do to get Cabe to start talking. You can tell that despite his reluctance, Cabe trusts Toby and realizes that he has real skills.
