Six years isn't very long compared to the number of seasons some (terrible!) shows get. It wasn't too much to ask. Still makes me angry.
 I saw there was another show cancelled in the last week or so after ending their season on a huge cliffhanger - I can't remember the name of the show now, but I feel for the devastated fans.  __________________

In some ways I think being dumped by a tv show is worse than being dumped by a romantic partner. At least when you're dumped by a partner, for a while you have hope that there might be a reconciliation. You can also look back and (usually) find some reason for the split. With a tv series there is no real hope and very little, if any, reason - at least nothing that is reasonable for the fans.
