I literally squealed when I saw the promo pics. I am a comic nerd and to see my favorite group of nerds dressed up as comic heroes in the SFG universe, it made me exponentially happy.

Some new info in Matt's Inslide Line. Apparently we'll be seeing more of Happy's dad this season and it sounds like her big secret will be revealed in the same episode as Toby's boxing match. I can't wait to find out what it is! Chet has to be involved, right?

I keep trying to figure out exactly what Happy's secret could be. It must involve Chet, but I can't think of any reason she would be so secretive. We were speculating that the club they were going to might be a boxing club, but why would that be a big secret? Not that she's one to volunteer a lot about herself, but it seems like it would have to be something that embarrasses her or makes her uncomfortable for her to be actively hiding it from the team.

We've seen some speculation that Chet is a fellow former foster kid, or even her brother. I don't know what specifically that'd have to do with boxing though.

Yes, I've seen this too and like this theory, but I'm still having a hard time figuring out why she would want to keep that a secret. Now I can understand why she might be uncomfortable with the team talking to Chet, because he might reveal something about her past that she'd prefer they didn't know, but why keep his identity a secret if that's who he is? I mean they all know she was in foster care and would likely have foster siblings out there. I'm probably way overthinking this!

I can definitely see Happy keeping Chet a secret if he's a fellow foster kid or brother. He would know things about her life - especially her childhood - that the rest of the team doesn't know and Happy doesn't want them to. She's beyond close-mouthed about her past, and if she introduces Chet as someone from that past, she knows that he'll be completely bombarded with questions. Knowing how that group can be (cough, cough, Toby), I can't say I blame her.

Exactly. They know she was in foster care, but they (and we) have been under the impression that she didn't form any relationships while she was there. Finding out there is someone significant from her past, that maybe she'd confided in, or been on her side in bad situations, etc, would make her extremely vulnerable since he'd be a source of information, and she saw firsthand how nosy everyone was about Drew, they'd be just as nosy about Chet.

That's very true. I guess I was thinking about it in terms of my own friends. I have people from various stages of my life who I still see on a regular basis. They all know about each other but most have never met, and if I wanted to keep a secret it wouldn't really be an issue. But I guess I forgot how nosy and persistent this group (especially Toby) can be. Keeping Chet and Scorpion apart wouldn't be enough because they'd likely still pressure her for info. So yeah, on second thought, this does make a lot of sense. If Toby thinks he's a boyfriend he's a lot less likely to ask her questions than if he found out it was a foster brother.
