One of the things I love about this show is that, no matter how angsty things get, they always end on such a sweet and optimistic note. I can enjoy the heartbreaking moments because I know in the end everything will work out.

That press release lists a character named Grace Quinn. I wonder who that is?

I don't know for sure, but I've seen some speculation that it could be Happy's mom and we'll be getting some flashback scenes.

Plus around that time the actress tweeted that she was "playing pregnant" on some show, but didn't say what show it was.

This makes me think that Happy's condition will be pretty serious. The flashbacks would probably be about Patrick Quinn losing his wife, so it seems likely that it would tie into him fearing that he could lose his daughter too.

Yeah. Or they aren't flashbacks at all and Happy is imagining seeing her parents interacting.

Hmm...that'd be really interesting too. What if she was thinking about her father losing her mother and about what her death would do to Toby?

Hmm, I was thinking more along the lines of "why has my life just been a risk from the very beginning" but yeah that could tie into her hoping she and Toby have more time together than Patrick and Grace.

Absolutely! I didn't even think about that, but that makes sense too. Or maybe even that her mother put her life at risk to bring Happy into the world and Toby is knowingly risking his to save hers? There are a lot of directions they could take this.
