It's okay...We needed to hear what the doctor had to say bc it's the best way to move forward, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt but we'll deal with it, my dad, my brother and I.
She's not okay...she could die if she doesn't stop drinking...she has a rate of mortality in the next 4 months that is really high and she told us she didn't drink but her new hospitalisation was because she started drinking again...My mom is a depressed alcoholic with diabetes...so she has a lot of problems...the doctor clearly said no alcohol at all and she keeps doing it anyway when she knows she can die of it...

I will try to have a good day anyway...

she'll never get over if she rejects all the help they're offering... the last option we got and I don't know if I want to do it is to force my mom into a psychiatrist center so she'll get the help for the depression and alcoholism...but it's tuff...

it's hard to deal with especially since my mom is lying to us...and we had to face it with the doctor for her to admit it...it's a real problem and that affect us all...

we can't do much...she got out of the hospital now, she knows that if she starts drinking again, she's pretty much killing herself because of what happened...so we have to think about something but she doesn't want any help...at all for any of it so...she's denying her illness like everything is nothing...I have to talk about the fact that she can't go out and that it can't have any type of alcohol at home but will it be enough...I'm not sure...

First step is to admit you're ill... if she doesn't she'll never want help

that's the problem, she knows about the alcohol and we thought we made progress in january when she was released from the hospital, she said she would stop but instead she drank behind our backs (especially my dads...) and got admitted in the hospital again because of it... but she's denying the depression...

That's awful Ems Alcoholism is horrible and most people live in denial about it and there's nothing you can do until they accept the help. Sometimes it takes hitting the bottom to do something about it. I hope she sees things clearly and makes a change. We're here for you

thanks girls we hope she's gonna change too but she's been an alcoholic for almost 20 years (I've only known for 10 years and we tried...), we'll see
