The difference between season 1 Saul and season 4 Saul is amazing. All the stuff he went through, finding Helen, losing Helen, finding out he's a cylon. If seaosn 1 Saul had found out he was a cylon he probably would have done something rash. By season 4 (well...the end of season 3 technically) he had grown to love the entire crew so much that he didn't have to define himself as a "toaster".

He was the only Cylon model that really surprised me. I never suspected he was a Cylon.... He was such a mess, but he was so loyal to Adama and the humans. |

It really was a shock that he was a Cylon
but it was surely interesting to watch his struggle during the 4th season, he didn't care that he was a Cylon he was still loyal to the Humans/Adama__________________

1x03 starting off with Tigh having a wake me up
During the mini series and 1x01 could really tell that he was good at his job you need a hard-ass and somebody that can make hard decisions as the XO  the decision that he had to make in the mini series, the one that Galen got mad at him. Though he made the right decision__________________
