Poor Vanessa. That night dancing was memorable for all the wrong reasons. The ending to this episode was kinda bizarre. I think all of it was a hallucination.

Random thoughts are random:

- Ferdinand Lyle is a national treasure and must be protected at all costs. Although he probably won't survive to see another season.

- I should be intrigued by Hecate and her own plots and eagerness, but I'm not. Yawn.

- Lily could be Dorian's chance to join the main plotlines, hooray! But please don't neglect Angelique just because now you have a new woman making you curious.

- How come the group isn't locking Malcolm in a room and plotting how to break him out of whatever he is under? Come on now, he's too out of it to be safe to be around.

- Vanessa's tiny little adorable face when she asked Ethan to be her escort to the ball. *dies*

- Victor, your neurons fly out of the window the second you fall in love. Stop it, even Caliban is better boyfriend material than you right now. You don't deserve all that cheerleadering Vanessa is doing for you.

- Finally Ethan will know what lurks beneath his own skin! Sembene might ask for a raise after that, though.

Just watched it yesterday night. It was pretty intense ! Wonder if Lyle's already on Vanessa's side. He looked very worried about her. The witches are so creepy! Poor Vanessa and that Ethan experiment ! Lily and Dorian was great as well. Victor's getting pretty jealous.

Victor is headed toward heartbreak, but I can't really feel sorry for him considering he has made his own bed.... time to lie in it.
It's creepy to think that he found his happiness through a woman he had first murdered - sure, she was about to die anyway, but still - and then remade, literally, to something of his liking.

Also I don't know what to say about Dorian. I hope his insta-interest in Lily remains on the platonic, I-sense-that-you-are-immortal-too kind, for a while at least.
It's not even that I ship him and Angelique, because as cute as they were in their scenes I knew they wouldn't last, but I thought that Vanessa first and Angelique then had made him less eager to simply move onto the next new shiny thing for the sake of curiousity, more grounded and self-aware.

Lyle is precious. But his sharp tongue will bring him big trouble, he must learn to be less conspicuous about his alliances. Both Evelyn and Hecate are trigger-blade-happy.

Can't wait to see how Ethan reacts to what Sembene will tell him the morning after the transformation.

Finally saw it!

Wanted more Dorian/Vanessa That was seriously not enough and I don't like the treatment this relationship is getting, even though I love Vanessa/Ethan.

Victor was a jerk and his relationship with Lilly is freaking me out. Dorian is the only one who's not an idiot and actually recognises Brona Until Ethan sees her of course, I'm sure he'll know it's her, too.

Lyle/Vanessa warm my heart.

Love the Ethan/Sembene scene at the end

I don't know if Dorian is downplaying just how much he remembers of Lily/Brona, or he's telling the truth and only has a vague recollection of their meeting before.

If I were Brona I'd feel offended that nobody can't recall any details about her - the hair dye isn't a good enough excuse.

Will we ever find out more about Sembene? We did wet a few bits here and there, but it's not that big of a difference from last season, and the next few episodes seem to focus on too much already for them to give his character development.
