El Camino was to Jesse, what Felina was to Walt.

I was fine with how Breaking Bad ended, and was fine with how they left Jesse's character driving off into the night. But over the last few episodes of Breaking Bad, the show focused more on Walt and very little on his off sider.

El Camino was the farewell to Mr Pinkman that we didn't quite get from Breaking Bad.

Before the movie came out I had asked the question " is this going to be a story worth telling?"

My answer? Yes, El Camino was a story worth being told.

You are so right, and we really needed that with Jesse, and it left it open so they could show more.

I love that comparison Jesse's ending in Felina was satisfying, but it was nice to find out what happened to him afterwards. Definitely worth being told

They didn't rush it and wanted to make sure it was a good story that they wanted to tell

It is probably why it took so long to make, they had to keep up the greatness

It’s been nearly two years since Vince Gilligan released his Breaking Bad epilogue, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, and Ritter is still on cloud nine about reprising her role of Jane Margolis. Oddly enough, Ritter’s Jane wasn’t in the initial drafts of the script, but she ended up serving as the finishing touch as Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) rode off into the Alaskan sunset.

“[Vince Gilligan] said that I originally wasn’t there. Because the character is dead, you have to really make it make sense,” Ritter shares. “But the ending of [El Camino] was so beautiful because he sent Jesse off into the sunset with Jane riding shotgun. So I thought it was such a beautiful ending for that character. It ended on a positive note. He was going to be okay, and she was there with him. So I thought it was awesome. I’m so glad that they included me, but yeah, I did hear that I wasn’t in the original draft.”

Happy she got to come back. I'm sure Jesse missed her a lot, so it was very fitting
