You like that bit, don't you? ;)

LilMouse 07-20-2017 09:05 AM

It's so deserved and should be in the OP.

this is a less stretched out gif.

He's stumbling quite a bit.

This makes me happier than it should. :D

LilMouse 07-20-2017 08:22 PM

he's so dramatic.

his wife's face  those guests will never forget this Christmas. they'll be telling everyone in the future.

fallinrain 07-20-2017 08:28 PM

He is.

I didn't even notice her face. It's the gif that keeps on giving.

I liked what Carrie's dad said right after too, something like how not returning a book you borrowed is the height of rudeness. This Christmas is not going to be forgotten anytime soon!

LilMouse 07-21-2017 08:35 AM

Harrison's world is going to continue to spiral because his wife is going to do some digging now and find out he's a pig.

he couldn't flat out say "how dare you try taking advantage of my daughter in the bedroom" could he?

I wouldn't have been surprised if he had, but I'm glad he didn't tbh.

how come?

I didn't feel it was his place to mention it. Plus as Carrie pointed out, she made the decision to enter into that relationship, he didn't force her to be there.

LilMouse 07-21-2017 10:47 AM

You're right. And Carrie's a big girl. She was more upset about the book anyway.

Meliana 07-21-2017 10:49 AM

The book felony was bad.

It wasn't. It would've been one thing if it'd just been the three of them, but it would've been wrong for him to mention it in front of all those other people I think. It's not any of their business. And like you both said, the book is the reason they went there anyway.

I like that Carrie acknowledged her choice in their relationship, but there was some definite manipulation on his part. He didn't force her outright, no, but he took advantage of her naivety. On one hand, she should've known better. But on the other hand, it's hard for me to blame her for falling prey to his manipulation.
