No, it shouldn't. I've already reset it back to factory setting and scanned it, but it still seems to be running a bit slow. 4 GB RAM probably isn't enough to run the laptop. I had already purchased her a new one on my Amazon account so this one is just lying around for emergencies like mine lol.

Should be getting it back on Monday. The bad thing is there are no warning signs that there's going to be a problem. It happens overnight when the laptop is off.
