I have watched 3 eps so far.
Ep 1: Stress Proof Crane walk in Sydney-He did pool excersizes first to learn to control fear. Then, he went to a firemen training center. It was pretty neat watching him learn and then put that into practice when he actually did the crane walk. Ep 2: Shock In the Norwegian Arctic-He has 3 days to get his body and mind used to the cold before he swims with only swim trunks 250 yards in 36 degree water. They also did extreme saunas-175 degrees. He no nuts, he crazy! His brothers were there too plus a couple of friends. He and his brothers have a nice little talk while in a hot tub. He and a friend did surf there with wet suits on. It was amazing to watch that. He said he started surfing when he was 10.Ep 3: Fasting I didn't really take notes on this one but it was actually the most fun. He fasted for 4 days. Cooking his kids breakfast while one of them says, why aren't you eating? This time, the goal is to fill the time and take your mind off of the fact you're starving. He learns new sports, he goes hunting and fishing. I've enjoyed it so far. Retraining your mind in hopes of living longer. Lots of science stuff but they do make it easy to understand. It is fascinating. But honestly, most people are not gonna do any of this stuff-well, it's too extreme but these are "longevity doctors". |
