I wasn't aware the character even existed until Chris' name got attached to it, but I don't know how well the concept would work in a movie nowadays. Doc Savage is basically Indiana Jones meets Einstein meets James Bond meets Tarzan meets McGyver. The Gary Stue to end all Gary Stues.
