No rain so far. Our sale went well-made 13 bucks. Better than nothing which is what we made last time.

4 hours only-because it got HOT-as in sweating so bad we stopped at noon. So 8-12. Not bad.

ours held off for most of the day and then only rained for a very short time

we didnt make any money at our yard sale though

I'm sorry Jen. Ya hate to do all that work and then not even make a dollar. But at least, ya get to talk to the neighbors and have fun! We had a lot of people just slow down and look and then not even stop. Looky Loos, as I call them. Only looking for antiques or something that you don't have...

Yep-that is annoying. tbh I don't know if I'm ever going to have a yard sale again. I only did this one because the ad in the newspaper was free and it was a neighborhood sale. Even one of my neighbors said we didn't get near the cars traffic we had last time.

yeah this was a community sale so we thought we would get more traffic. this was at my sisters neighborhood and she gets a lot of traffic there. her neighbor had nice stuff and i think she said she only made $8 . so i dont think we will be doing this again. its just not worth it

Yeah-too much work. I only stayed out 4 hours and made 13 bucks. But it's just not worth the effort anymore. Now if I had made 13 bucks an hour, now that I would have been happy with! I remember a few years ago, I made 73.00 at one of these neighborhood sales!
