I loved playing Goldeneye split-screen with my family and just using throwing knives. Left 4 Dead was really awesome too. I wish they would make another one ASAP. I used to play the demo for MediEvil religiously. |

Interesting list. Most of those on it I've yet to play. I did coincidentally pick up Remember Me today at a library for the XBOX 360, so will get to play for the first time in years.

Yeah. I live in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, Wa Metro area & they have in 2 of the bigger counties population wise in Oregon a ton of video games, especially Washington County, Oregon which is just west of Portland. In Multnomah County itself, which is where Portland is I don't think they have video games to checkout in their libraries, or across the Columbia River in Vancouver, but the Public Transit system in this area is so great & they have thankfully buses that run late, so it's not a big deal to travel for me 2 hours some days if needed to pick up anything. Sadly I don't travel much, so haven't been to many other libraries that aren't in this area, so don't know what their libraries are like. I have been to 1 in Olympia & that's about it, outside 30 or so miles.

I live in the Metro Detroit area with over 5.3 million people and we dont' have video games at our libraries. Then again, they'd probably get stolen, lol .

Yeah. That I think that became a problem here, which is surprising, because there's only about 25,000 or so people in my town, & it's not known for crime at all, but in the past year I think the librarians put the M rated games away & & you have to ask 1 to check em out for you. That's not the case at my town's library for non M rated games. Those can be checked out by ourselves, but in other libraries they are in a protective case or put away. Now Detroit's Metro Area is much bigger than Portland's though. Ours total has about 2,400,000 people living in it. We have 5 cities around that have at least 100,000 or near it in their populations.
So what is your all time favorite game? __________________

I have the fondest memories with Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.
I was never big into PS1, PS2 or Xbox original. Then in 2007, I was working at Circuit City and everyone wanted me to play those 2 games with them. So I bought the spartan green Xbox 360, Halo 3 and COD 4. I spent probably hundreds of hours with them up until the sun came up and we'd come into work the next day with no sleep. It was amazing. Nothing will ever replace those times! |
