Super Mario World: World's Most Famous Plumber
Loved all the games except Mario Sunshine, which is...eh. Passable.
Paper Mario 2 is coming out, and has me very excited; some colourful screenshots can be found at that link. It's Mario, but paper; endlessly amusing! __________________

Was the original Paper Mario more geared toward kids? I didn't enjoy the baby Mario game with Yoshi, and I don't like too many tongue-in-cheek games.
Although the graphics above really look great. |

Yoshi's world, the game you are referring to, has been referred to as possibly the best platformer Myamoto has ever made, and i agree since it is a very fun and challenging game, and baby mario is soo cute, except when he cries...
and i liked Mario Sunshine. the paper mario 2 graphics don't look all that different from the n64 version, just more sharper, but it looks to be good fun. [ 04-05-2004: Message edited JediBlastoise ] __________________

That has to be the most annoying game ever. Mario's made me want to scream. __________________

Is mario sunshine 2 in the works? I know that Metroid Prime 2 is in the works. I'm glad that X-play showed the Best ending b/c I'm not sure i wanted to play the game in hard mode. |

you dont have to play it on hard mode to get the best ending. all you have to do is get 100% completion, which means all the missle expansions, bombs, etc..

I remember playing Super Mario way back when. So much fun staring at the TV, clicking the buttons mindlessly. Kind of reminds me yesterday.

Paper Mario wasn't exactly difficult, but not a kid-oriented game the way something like Luigi's Mansion was.
Think Super Mario RPG, and that's about it; turn based combat in paper format. __________________

"It's a me, Mario!" I loved Mario 64. I played and played and played. That game was amazing- everything Mario is amazing. It's just, like, regular gaming. I heart it.

Sadly, the GameCube versions are the weakest; not many people are going to look back on these titles in a few years and see them the way Super Mario Brothers 3 gets revered.
Which I didn't totally get; it was the best of the NES titles, but Super Mario World was amazing; best launch game ever! __________________
