Constantin Film and writer-director Johannes Roberts said Tuesday that they have conceived an official origin story adaptation with faithful ties to Capcom’s classic survival horror games. This story is set in 1998 on a fateful night in Raccoon City. Even though I liked some of the RE films, I didn't like that Alice was the main character and the other characters from the game were backup for her. So I hope they have the main characters of the game franchise lead the reboot, that's always how it should of been.

Totally agree. Alice should've been Jill. R3make Jill even kinda looks like Milla Jovovich.

I like the sound of this being a more faithful adaptation set in 1990s.
