how do you change your name? I was trying to find how to delete my account and create a new one because I want a different name. I'd rather just change it!

Only moderators can change their names up to once a year. It has been about 5 years since I changed my name. The last time I changed it before I were a mod was back in the early 2000s when anyone could change their names and I had no internet at the time so had no chance to change it to a permanent one so the one I was stuck with was so dated that I change it to what it is now but this one is getting stale and dated to me too.

Non-mods have a chance to change their names once per year if they are one of the 10 or so people to win the easter-egg-challenge on

Guess I'll just have to become a mod. Maybe on here given I'm constantly refreshing the page almost every hour, lol.

Boards like this don't tend to need three mods, they usually just have two though. If it were a board that has insane traffic sometimes they allow a third mod.

When I am at home, I do the refresh thing too But alas, I am not always at home and half of my posts are from my GS2 at work...

You can also get your username changed, once a year, if you're part of the Communications Team, or the Graphics Team, or if you have over 100,000 posts

When I said Mods I automatically meant all of the other volunteers too.

I did not know about the 100,000 posts bit though!~ Better post a bit more now then huh placebobsh!?

Oh I'm going to take your mod spot or John's spot! When one of you get caught in an affair with your secretary and get impeached it'll happen.

Yeah, that ain't gonna happen. If one of us for some reason or another decides to quit or if one of us gets so slack at posting and modding the board (closing opening new threads etc) - as some mods have in the past, they can get fired/impeached/forced resignation.

So unless that happens sometime soon then the 100 000 posts option or deleting and creating a new account are other options that you could use. Or apply for a modship of another board.

Good, I don't want you guys to go anywhere. I've grown rather fond of you, Clint and John. Maybe when traffic picks up on one of my wife's boards I can get modhood there. Though this is the only thread I really carea bout posting on (some others but meh). 100,000 it is!!!

A bunch of times, there was a period where I was just too crazy with it I've posted the ones I remember of (which are 6) on my profile. But I'm sure there were a couple more.
