Seems like it. Apple is always late to the game. Just not in a way like Nintendo (as Apple can at least sell lol)

This is disturbing but cool! Smartphones Can Steal 3D-Printed Models by Copying Sounds of Printer Nozzles | IHS Electronics360

Nice step forward here, now if only they'd go even further for their human rights with medical etc. http://inamerica.blogs.cnn.com/2012/...nostic-manual/

I miss the politics and news board on :ff:! :(

This is a nice story! http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/rea...989c21b7ff6f32

GardenSirens 03-06-2016 12:22 PM

I miss that board, too. Good articles.

Camibra 03-06-2016 06:02 PM

I would have added the above on that board especially the trans rights and 3D printed models able to be stolen by recording the sounds the printer makes!

GardenSirens 03-07-2016 02:28 PM

There are two politics threads in the Everyday Lifestyles and Interests board

Camibra 03-07-2016 04:34 PM

I will have a look when I get home and see if there is a thread that I can add the trans rights article onto. :)

GardenSirens 03-08-2016 11:28 PM

the Off Topic is a good thing for here, and I saw you added it to the LGBTQ thread on EL&I thread. Good stuff, man. My wife and I are long time paying members of the Human Rights Campaign and are huge gay rights advocates.

Camibra 03-09-2016 03:44 AM

I am sorry about thinking you were Republican supporters - I truly think I mistook you with someone else on :ff:, no idea for the life of me who though...

I rarely go to that board any more on here since it was called 'Communities' it has had a lot of mew thread ideas added since then! Some I will interact in, as you know, I only post where I feel strongly enough to chat. Did you read my long posts on that thread? See some of the things I am trying to go through atm, bloody sucks! It is like when you drive down a street and see it is a dead end yet your destination is literally just a few feet on the other side of the fence... Maybe in a few months you could say 'Good stuff, girl' and not 'Good stuff, man'. ;) Here's hoping! :D :D

That LGBT thread is a good place to talk about those issues, I wish I knew it existed sooner!

GardenSirens 03-09-2016 09:37 AM

no, i voted republican in 2012 and have been back and forth conservative/liberal but I did some deep soul searching and am back to a liberal and for good. I voted Democrat in 2004, 06, 08 (for Obama the first time!!), 10, 14 and yesterday/later this year. In 2012 I voted for Mitt Romney for president. The confusion for me wasn't any confusion, just some days I'd defend someone because of common sense and people would turn on me. For example, if I liked something Rush Limbaugh said, liberals would attack me on twitter despite me being a liberal. I have common sense so will always go with what's right and what makes sense.

Camibra 03-10-2016 06:39 AM

So I was thinking of you then! :P

GardenSirens 03-10-2016 12:53 PM

haha, yes you were. But i'm like that no more. Long gone.

Camibra 03-16-2016 06:01 AM

Maybe again in the future? ;)

GardenSirens 03-16-2016 10:51 AM

haha who knows what the future holds? i'm not close minded.

I just transplanted 6 baby chili seedlings that popped up a few months ago next to the big momma 3 year old hot chili plant after I transplanted it at Xmas 2015 into a bigger pot. They were all way too close together, now there is big momma and one seedling left in its pot alone - far enough apart where they will not restrict each other's growth, three seedlings in another same sized big pot far enough apart where again they will not restrict each other's growth and then the final 3 seedlings I put into smaller pots that are perfect sized for one plant of this size when they mature. :D

I also transplanted a 'Cape Gooseberry' I bought from Bunnnings garden centre today into a big pot. I used to love eating those Gooseberries at my grandparent's place when I were a kid!
