Off Topic Thread #18 - Does anyone still play games?!

Well, do they? It is the biggest entertainment avenue in the world yet on :ff: it is near-dead. :/ Sorry, had a bad day...

GardenSirens 01-30-2016 12:45 PM

No, I'm the same way. More people play video games now than ever, ten fold. Those people are always online but they don't come to :ff: . Now given, I thought :ff: was a girl's website (still mostly do) because of shipping fictional couples (which I consider retarded) but lots of cool guys here, too.

:ff: Started as a fan forum for the tv show Roswell. I bet most posts were about shipping though...

Would you clone your dead pet?

Reminds me way too much of that Arnie film from 2000 The 6th Day!

This is so sad but happy too! http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/par...4eac692cfc1c30

GardenSirens 02-01-2016 10:39 AM

never that's too weird and it wouldn't be the same.

Camibra 02-06-2016 06:17 PM

It isn't! They said in other reviews of cloned dogs that the oler the dog was when it was cloned the more anti social fhe clone will be and some are just wild animals when grown up having to be put down! All due to the degrade dna they used to clone the animal.

GardenSirens 02-07-2016 11:47 AM

see, now that's just crazy. I'm not cool with cloning but i get the logic behind trying to experiment with it all.

Such a sad story but has a good ending! :)

Jason Ronald Douglas disappearance: Brisbane man found in West Midlands, UK

interesting article there, Clint.

Pretty sad though that different countries laws hindered this family... :( I love what the man said he would do when he gets back home to Oz, lie in the middle of the road when it is raining to absorb the small of the rain evaporating on the hot summer tarmac! ;)

This is my life here right now Matt ------> Western Australia heatwave: This could be the hottest place on earth, literally

GardenSirens 02-09-2016 09:25 AM

man you're just loving being so hot while we're all frozen, eh? lol

Camibra 02-09-2016 04:30 PM

Nope. Over it, so over it! Want Winter!!! :)

GardenSirens 02-10-2016 01:05 PM

i'll happily switch. It's only 21 fahrenheit today but the wind makes it more than 10 degrees colder and of course, harsher on our skin and what not.

Camibra 02-10-2016 09:21 PM

You should hate it here as the temp is just crazy hot and humid... Not able to cool down properly any time of the day or night so it is uncomfortable. At least with your temp you can warm up easier than I can cool down by adding layers of clothing on. Plus if we swapped I would be able to enjoy snow for the first time in my life! :D

GardenSirens 02-12-2016 08:21 AM

We have 100% humidity almost all the time here so i'm used to it and our summer gets in the triple digits. My sister lives in the desert so it's common to see over 120 degrees fahrenheit but of course, no humidity there.
