Games: Weekly Poll - 22nd February to 1st March 2014
Do you use third-party devices or controllers or add-ons for your game consoles?
Examples of these are cheaper controllers or uber expensive modded controllers with turbo switches and such inside them with extra buttons or buttons you can alter yourself. Docking stations for wii-motes with rechargeable battery permanently inserted. A) Sometimes if the need arises. B) Never. I do not play games, where am I? Why am I posting on a games board?! C) Often get cheapies as they are cheaper. D) I get the wicked add-ons such as the Kinect fish lens that makes its sensor read things up close easier so can be used in a small room - those sort of things. E) I only buy the brand that the console is - never stray outside the box. F) I prefer the better and more expensive 3rd party controllers as you can get more out of them, what with having customisable buttons and movable analogue sticks so that they can be used in any modern console and PC. Or the Dolby Surround sound headphones that are very expensive which utterly kill stock headsets that all consoles come with. Stuff like this. G) Other (please specify.) __________________

Third party accessories add to the device not detract from it. They are not just copied controllers sold for cheap. (Some are just that...) But some are way better than the SONY, Nintendo or MicroSoft XBOX standard ones that cost more.
Example: if it weren't for 3rd party innovations wiimotes would always need to be opened up and you manually replace the AA batteries. 3rd party innovation allowed us to just add a chargeable battery to the wiimote and plug it into a charging dock. __________________

Absolutely not. I use only things released by that company.

I don't care what company makes a product, if it's not official it can't really be the best. For warranty reasons, quality guarantee, etc... I find first party products to be the best. I know there are some really good headsets that are third party but I don't use them.

Examples of high end 3rd party controllers that are WAY better than SONY/MicroSoft/Nintendo. Enjoy.

So I take it that you didn't bother seeing the above videos (especially the first one) which proves you wrong.
