I'm so disappointed about the Golden Globes. I though Tobias would get a nomination for sure.

Really surprised by that too. Unless they don't take the show seriously because it's perceived as a "bodice ripper" with a to large a female audience.

I honestly don't even worry about awards. There have been so many people and shows in the past that have been snubbed, even when they are better than what is nominated or winning...I think they're pretty meaningless.

Would have been nice for Tobias to get the recognition, but the people watching know how good he is!

^ True, but it would have been nice for Tobias and the rest of the cast to gain some notice. I think it stems from the fact that GoT, which is more male-centered, receives so many accolades, but Outlander, which is female-centered, and equally as well crafted isn't seen as "serious" enough work. Just frustrating, but it is a freshman show and the intensity gets bigger and stakes higher as the series goes on so it'll be interesting to see what happens.
