When they have a mutual ILY, I think I want Oliver to say it first. But I wouldn't complain if Felicity said it first. Heck we could get both versions of a mutual ILY at some point. I think we should get plenty of romance and affection between them in season 4. They are happy and in love, Oliver is a really good place finally where he's open and living life fully, they are finally with the right person and starting a life together, so there has to be lots of romance and flirting and affection.

Oh I have nothing against OF sweet and romantic on the principle, I'm just not big on declaration, overall, specially in their case when it's pretty clear how they feel : he said it, she said it, very well in both case; they dropped off everything and left together at the end, that's fine, I'm pretty sure they both know they love each other
It's not even like if it's been a big issue of them, they are not a kind of couple who played with each other feelings (unless there's a mad man under Mirakuru to trick that's it), but Felicity is an open book, Oliver is disconnected from his feelings but once he gets a clue he doesn't hide it a lot either, so that's okay, it's not like they have doubts and need it to be said over and over again. One time when it makes sense with the rest of the story is more than enough for meI like it better when their story is played through little things showing intimacy : little gestures of support, looks, unexpected smiles, playful discussions, finishing each other sentences, Oliver picking on Yiddish terms, them working perfectly in sync, talking their issues out in one scene or drugging each other, all these little things who say I love you  |
