^ Indeed they were.
 From the moment Peralta mentioned that his relationship with Sophia had hit a few bumps (and considering the title of the episode), I had a strong feeling that they were going to break up before the final credits rolled. I thought he did the right thing when he arrested Hoytsman for having Cocaine and using it right in front of him. When Sophia came to the Nine-Nine to represent Hoytsman in the charge(s), I knew that it was coming. Peralta did so much to make sure that Sophia would be happy in her professional and personal life, and all it did was show them both that it was never going to work between them. What a shame. Poor Peralta.    Hopefully, another woman will appreciate his efforts.  __________________

^ I'm sure I have no idea to whom you think I'm referring to.
  I was talking about a hypothetical woman that will come into Peralta's life, and he will fall in love with her so hard that he'll be willing to go into the belly of the beast to make her happy.    I loved that Holt took the high road and he gave Wunct a good recommendation. Now he's Mother Holt. Too bad it was all part of her plan to get a high position in the NYPD, and therefore even more control over him. I should have seen it coming.   Oh, well, the good news is that the rivalry continues!   All Boyle wants is to make sure that Lynn is happy, and since Darlene makes him happy, he accepts their relationship. Gina, on the other hand -- not so much.  I loved that Boyle was willing to promise Gina all sorts of things to get her to give her blessing to Lynn. ( Go, Santiago and your conflict resolution binder!  ) I thought it was so sweet that Gina wanted to make sure that Lynn wouldn't hurt Darlene. Once he proved to her that all he wants is to make Darlene happy, she gave her blessing. Now here comes the planning of a weird Boyle/Linetti wedding. Buckle up, people!  __________________
