I know... that has the potential to be really, really interesting and angsty...that is, if the writers recognize that they actually have to show Iris' POV. Now that the reveal is out of the way, hopefully they will highlight her POV more.

What I find interesting is that Barry didn't think anything was wrong with the double date but he was paying very close attention Iris/Eddie. He totally picked up on Eddie acting funny.

I won't cry over the spilled milk that is the previous episodes but I'm glad that this one gave us much needed answers. I also think it ties in with Reverse Flash and how these two's hearts found each other despite Reverse Flash forcing them into a situation where they became siblings. That's what I took out of it, anyway.
I've always thought of them as cute with potential but this episode really made me find them romantic. Let's hope future episodes keep things moving. __________________

I'm in utter euphoria.
The episode answered most of my concerns. Like now we know Barry did try to move on from Iris in HS and stuff (unsuccessfully obviously) and that Iris was clearly harbouring deep seeded romantic feelings for him. It's canon now.  The best part was that Iris and West-Allen were at the centre of everything. Even Cisco/Wells wouldn't have happened without her and her talking to him. IDK how we got this awesomeness after such an awful drought. __________________
