Assuming this dynamic trio is from 1st season Harrison which really turned out to be Eobard

Correct. He loved working with a scientist like Ray because it brought him back to his Star Labs days.

That scene made me want to rewatch his scenes with Cisco and Caitlin. lol

In S1 I wanted a couple more flashbacks with these three, especially with Harrison and Caitlin which is a dynamic the show should have explored more.

I'm aware of the deleted scene. I was so so upset it didn't make into the final cut, especially because it showcased the colder side of Caitlin's personality.
