I’m not sure how many of you watched the 1990s series of The Flash, but it’s interesting how similar the relationships between Barry and (Chris)Tina who’s supposed to be his love interest, parallels with Barry and Caitlin, who’s not supposed to be a love interest.

Based on the show description, “Tina helps Barry Allen control his powers and helps him in his battles as the Flash” (which Caitlin, Cisco and Wells do at Starlabs). Throughout the show, “Barry and Tina appear attracted to each other, but always claim to be “just friends and partners.” It is implied that they develop feelings for each other, but they never acted upon those feelings, even up to the last episode.”

Of course, unlike the 1990s series (which is only 1 season), Tina’s husband didn’t return in another form, but it’s intriguing how the writers are paralleling the background story and development of Caitlin similarly to Christina McGee who’s the lead character and love interest for Barry. (Both of which, are scientists at Starlabs.)

While in the 90s series, apparently Barry and Tina didn’t act on their feelings (since their show ended in the first season), i’m hoping that in this current version, Barry and Caitlin would develop similar potential attraction along the way (which we might have seen glimpses of it from Caitlin’s side), and that there’s an implied attraction to each other, even if they don’t act on it. I don’t mind if it’s a reluctant attraction, cos that would make it even more exciting to watch the tension grow. Even if they don’t eventually lead to romance, i’ll be contented with the interactions between Barry and Caitlin as they work as a team. Caitlin of course, deserves to be much more than just a love interest, cos she’s got her own future development as a potential “villain”, plus a key personnel in Team Flash, not to mention the situation with Ronnie’s return, but it’ll be nice to see some lovin for her if things eventually don’t work out between her and Ronnie.

Since, I have not been added to the list, I think I might re-post my first post from the last post.

I am so excited to be part of this thread, I am just very very new here, but I am a diehard #SnowBarry fan and have started to become obsessed with this pairing from the very first episode (I don't know why!). Even though many people would say it's not canon, I DON'T care. All I know is that every single interaction between Barry and Caitlin makes me so interested all the time and I can feel the deep connection in their relationship which even the canon Barry - Iris relationship fails. I wish the producers at least try to give us #SnowBarry fans something we want, not much, but maybe a little bit and we would be happy with that.

I don't know but they have changed the Director (who directed the first 3 episodes) and a new Director is leading from Episode 4, whatever happens, I just hope we get a little bit of #SnowBarry every time! I feel that each and every interaction shows how they care for each other even though most of their feelings are IMPLICIT. I hope we get to see some explicit feelings too.

I have read and followed this whole thread until my registration was complete and I was allowed to finally post here, FINALLY!!! I would so much love to be added to your list. I also follow unicornships which is a great source of my favorite pairing SnowBarry!

You can see how so many people like us have gotten the #SnowBarry fever in the photo comment (132 likes) I have posted in the comment section of the trailer, I hope this catches the eyes of the producers and maybe we can expect a little bit of #SnowBarry like Olicity (JUST READ the comments there, you will be surprised)! This photo is really getting popular. And, we know what it proves... It proves, we are going to get more of #SnowBarry from the Revenge of the Rogues episode!!! And just as Danielle Panabaker said:
