Both that, and the way they write women and minorities. It's appalling.
Take Iris, for example, almost an entire season was spent on an arc that she was meant to die at the end of, and instead of using that story to highlight her strength and explore her emotions, they used it to essentially rob her of her agency and barely let her react to her own impending demise without it being related to someone else. Then, to add insult to injury, they then had her 'forgive' Caitlin/KF for conspiring to murder her and actually murdering HR without even addressing the issue at all, let alone an apology. And that's on their best show. The other networks aren't perfect, but the CW seems determined to make it look like they are. |

It took way too long, and it doesn't erase how things have always been before. It's why it makes me laugh when they use words like "feminist" to advertise their shows when they don't have a clue what the word means.
