If Barry/Caitlin were a couple, I'd never refer to Caitlin making an effort with Iris as 'charity work'. And again, if you're frustrated with their relationship, it belongs in the I/C thread. This isn't the first thread nor the first time that people have been putting down Caitlin in this forum. Be civilised.

I agree that Barry and Iris do more of the heavy lifting in their respective relationships with Ralph and Caitlin. That's why I prefer Barry and Cisco. Their friendship feels genuine.

Many people have said they would have liked to see Cisco step up in Barry's absence rather than Ralph. That would have been another bonding experience for Barrisco.

Both Cisco and Ralph joke but with Cisco it's never at anyone's expense or getting in the way of the mission.

Ralph has to be babied in his friendship with Barry. Barry and Cisco have a good give and take. Although sometimes it feels as though Barry is more of a taker.

I don't think the show is capable of giving us balanced friendships where both parties put in effort. Between Iris and Caitlin, Barry and Ralph, and even this season Barry and Cisco. It hasn't been great.

It would have been a better storyline.

Cisco vibing into the prison and getting that pep talk from Barry.

The issue Cisco had with Cynthia with Barry trying to fix it. Felt more about stoping Devoe thank helping Cisco.

They need quality time just the two of them without it being case related.
