I know. .it was awkward but he should have told the truth. Seriously though, what DO you do with an expensive ring that you can't return, after the intended recipient turns it down?

I would return if I could. I didn't quite understand why he kept it tbh, it was a constant reminder of Jo leaving. I wouldn't want that lying around and reminding me of the pain.

Even if Luke couldn't return the ring, he could have tried to sell it. Keeping it wasn't a healthy thing for him to do, unless he wasn't completely over Jo.

tough call..it was tucked away in a drawer... maybe he just put it there until he could figure out what to do with it, or until he could face disposing of it....and then forgot it was there.
On the other hand, he had to have unpacked it when they moved into the condo together..but yeah, that was a bonehead move..and put it in a safe deposit box or somthing!

It didn't really make sense but they had to create conflict somehow. I read an interview with Eric last week and he said that he was glad that the cheating wasn't random and that there was a history there. Can't say I agree with what he had to say that because it made it worse because emotional cheating was involved. Cheating is bad in general but imo it's worse if there are actual feelings involved than when it's just a random hook up.

BTW, I finished season 3 the other day, he looked so good, especially with a beard.

And I loved that he wore casual clothes, preferred that look to the suits he wore in the first two seasons.
