Unreleased songs
i am reposting this as its own thread because the thread it was put on is dead please keep it separate thank you

I'd love for them to release Already Gone, I can't understand why they never have. It's probably the only unreleased song I'm bothered about.

I am curious about songs recorded that were never used. Back in season 2, Hayden mentioned just recording a Kate York song. Well that song was never used, and I was so looking forward to hearing it. I loved it when Hayden got to sing Kate York songs. Hayden recorded a song before she left for treatment that should have been used most likely in either 408 or 409. I wonder if we will hear that one or will go the way of the season 2 song that was never used.

I see Already Gone being brought up all the time but I've never cared at all about getting that one
 I want the DR version of Postcards from Mexico though. And the one that I will never understand... at the end of 321 when DR are talking about making an album, they use lyrics from a Kate York/Sarah Siskind song... WHY would you have that and then never record it and only use it in a couple random lines of dialogue __________________

Yes, Already Gone is #1 on my list of songs I wish they'd released. Also was interested in American Beauty.
I had forgotten about the song Deacon was working on. I agree about not being terribly disappointed in a Pam song not being released, but maybe he could have just sung it himself?  __________________

one thing that hit me today was when they did live songs on season 3 opener we only got the east coast versions. anyone know about the west coast versions or which version appears on the season 3 DVD? thanks
