If you're still in S3 as you said in another thread, the maddie stuff there is nothing compared to S4 where she is much worse and then S5 where she reamins on this bad level plus much more focus.
I don't get why show runners want to foucs on a character that is far from being a fan favorite.

seriously? wow. she makes me want to fast Forward through all of her Scenes already

I actually don't mind Maddie this season. She was worse S4, but this season, not so much. But everyone has a different opinion, so judge on your own merit

I didn't mind her much in season 3 so if you want to fast forward her already, season 4 might be hard for you. And while the writing for her might be better in season 5 depending on your point of view, she has a lot of airtime, more than Hayden, Jonathan, Sam, Clare, Chris. It's a lot to take. Personally I went from barely mentioning her in my season 4 posts to no longer wanting to watch any scenes with her because of the overload. In some episodes her airtime is justified like 509 to 511. But before that, she was already beating Hayden airtime wise so it rubbed a few people the wrong way. Hopefully it won't be the case for you. :)

Agreed. I started because Hayden and Connie. I feel like most people did, and Hayden deserves more screen time if she's not getting it and wants it.

^ I can never get enough Hayden time. I thought the showrunners said each actor would be featured in certain episodes. I really haven't seen that yet for most of the actors though, except a few.

When I first began watching in season 3 (caught up on the first 2 first) I didn't watch for anyone. I knew who was in it from the beginning, but didn't think it was for me. but a friend convinced me to check it out, and I was hooked from the first episode. I loved all parts of the show.

Yes they said that, but it was only connie and of course lennon/maisy who got so much. And maybe charles. All many fans want is just more balance.

I could have gone the rest of the Nashville series and enjoyed Maddie and Daphne if they had only remained "cute" and "good singers". But Alas.......

Yes basing the main plot on them and Zack plus Rachel Bilson's character while sidelining especially javery and Will so much and not caring at all for good writing for the remaining main couples javery and scunnar, probably is not a good move. I just don't get why marshall doesn't see that and why he's so full of himself that he won't even listen to any fan concerns.

I just hope if nothing changes that the actors like hayden and jj move on and we get nashville 2.0 so the original fans can move on, without too many regrets.

I'm pretty far behind too, but i feel for you guys. It really hurts when a show you loved just turns out to take moves in the wrong direction. It's disappointing for sure.
