Typical Juliette bullish behavior, the thing I love most about her. And in the promo after tonight's show they showed her reading reviews of her gospel album, so that's at least been completed.

Her pushing Maddie and being into the bad guy light like tonight and the promo where Clay gets to be the good guy telling Maddie to do it for herself. It's just more nonsense to make her the bad character to Maddie being the angel. By ''PPD'' I'm refering to her work obsessed behavior that they decided to once portray as PPD and then switch it to her just being an addict.

I have no issues with Juliette pushing herself (she is badass with the stairs even if it's unhealthy) but pushing others I do cause it's just to paint her in a bad light so Maddie and Clay look good.

:yay: Rachel! And she'll be a series regular. I'm looking forward to see what her character will be like. And she can sing.

Great they're adding more regulars. Even more screen time to take away from Avery, Gunnar, Will, and Juliette. Just what this show needs. I really don't know what they're thinking.

maybe im just stupidly optimistic. I want to see what happens after seeing the promo with Juliette's big performance. How can you guys stay away from that?

one performance is not saving the rest of what is coming. And adding 2 new female characters when they barely give time to the guys? And Juliettte managing bratty Maddie, not here for that.

Fair enough, I'll miss chatting with you about the episodes

soup333 03-09-2017 09:49 PM

I am curious about that performance but there's no way I trust these writers to do Juliette any justice at all. Not after all they've already ignored. I'm deeply disappointed and I've got to cut ties with this before I start hating it. I HATE what they've done with this show and these characters.

No one need bother telling me I'm wrong or impatient or not a true nashie. I won't be around much longer anyway, but I reserve the right to vent all my frustration.

I didn't see her being the bad guy tonight. She thought Maddie was fully into what she was doing and was trying to help her manage her many appearances. I do think she was projecting a little bit, just like Scarlett. They both assumed that Maddie wanted what they would have wanted for themselves rather than asking Maddie what she wanted to do. But I can't see that as Juliette being the bad guy.

And Clay telling Maddie to do what makes her happy isn't going to win points with the producer, her manager, or her label. If Juliette sees places that need improvement and is saying so in such a gentle way, it's probably best to listen - or at least negotiate.

Maddie's a kid, yeah, but she's no angel. I think she did learn a lesson or two this week. Especially after the fallout from her talk show appearance.

let's hope. I guess I am thinking about the bad guy angle because of stuff I can't bring up in this thread but still I just don't want to see this change in the Maddie/Juliette relationship.

The question is, do we even need this relationship, can't we just have juliette back as country singer.

Have you written about it in another thread?

Yes spoiler thread.

LG I think she is going back to that judging by the trailer.

I'm right there with you Soup. I think they did D/R very well. I will give them that much. But the other characters have not been written well at all and I don't see that improving. I hate Zach and he is only going to get more air time. I don't want to watch the Maddie Jaymes show either. I also don't care about them adding two more REGULARS (not recurring) characters to the show when they can't even do justice to the main cast we already have. Will is already barely on the show and when he is he is only there to prop Zach. Scarlett is ruined for me. Seriously...BRAIN TUMOR!!!!!! So I guess I'm not a true Nashie either. I feel like I'm in good company :P

Could be judging by the trailer. But could also just be clickbait. With Marshall you never know.

I'd say we are the true nashies. Bc we miss the real nashville and that was very different. That makes us true nashies. Bc we see how the producers to bad to our show. The others are next generation nashies
