^I always wondered if the writers knew in that episode to use the elephants and it was a foreshadow. Just kind of random how they had been brought up.

I’d say so, the writers probably had the end of season 6 planned out by then. They were on her desk for a while (I don’t know how early though) and I wonder if it was always the plan to have the answer right there on her desk or if they saw the elephants and were like “hey it would be cool if they were in there” 🤔

Ahh that does make sense, Fiona . Like you I wasn’t sure how long the elephants had exactly been there for either . I’m guessing the point was the truth to have literally been under Kates nose the whole time.
