Agreed about the two years prior. Kate letting it go was such a huge step for her. Knowing how season 8 ends every time I watch this episode i really see Joe and Vera as Castle and Beckett with their four kids and than all of those grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I loved the costumes and accessories used, I love this episode and the 70s episode it's so neat to see how all out Luke and everyone goes on those episodes .

It was a great rewatch, I'm glad I was able to join in this week .

It's something I didn't think of until after but there three kids plus Alexis makes four and Alexis being so much older than her siblings it'd be bound that Rick and Kate would know a couple of their great-grandkids

I love the opening scene and that we get to hear Tamala sing She has a beautiful voice.

Of course Castle wants to take the diary home I love how Castle reading it connects the flashbacks to the present

I love that Castle keeps talking about Joe and Vera while Beckett just wants to know about the safe. And Castle accidentally calling Vera 'Kate'

Aw, Kate wants to know how Joe and Vera's story ended

I love that Kate doesn't arrest Joe and Vera, it really shows how much she's changed.

I agree about Tamalas voice, it was good for it to open that way and "seeing" Joe and Vera's story was great
