"Dig"
When Detective Gibbs and Nick find an FBI agent who appears to have been murdered by Emily, the hunt for her goes up to a new level. With the help of a clue given to her by Adam Radford, Emily tries to tie all the threads while evading arrest. Nick tries to reconcile with Alice’s betrayal. Can Emily save herself? Can Nick keep his family together?

Oh boy - I do not know what or who to believe! I mean - wtf.

Random thoughts, in no particular order:

Emily knew where to dig - Tommy is right! But how did she know?! Btw, the fact alone she found Bleeding Eye is cool. People on Twitter had a thought: What if the blonde girl in Emily's memories was Alice? But I think she would have recognized her if it was her. But it's an interesting thought!

And, hoooo boy, Jack - ugh! He led them straight to her, hinting she likes Robin Hood. Jackass, fitting for the name. Well, I think he tipped them off... Maybe I'm wrong?

Speaking of wrong - NICK!?!? He doesn't believe Emily anymore? We did see the shots coming from Emily's direction, yes, but...
Or is he just pretending? I don't think so, he wouldn't have hunted her down, so to speak, if he still believed/trusted (in) her. That is so sad to see

Or what if Dr. Vega is right and she has a split personality? I never thought about that possibility, but who knows?

I hope Emily can find out who the medical device belonged to.

Oh, so brave of her to go through the river/body of water to get to the other side

Alice - TAKING A PREGNANCY TEST. AAAAH! If she's pregnant it makes things so much more complicated. Aw man! Will rant when we actually see the result of the test

Oh, and the biggest new information: Nick stopped looking after only a year? Warren didn't say when he remarried. It couldn't have been after a year already, too. Which states the question again: How and when did he meet Alice? Maybe we'll learn at some point.

Already half of the episodes seen - I love this show

First of all Stana is still knocking it out of the park every episode!

I gotta say it, I don't think I ship Emily and Nick, he's lost faith in her which must be heartbreaking for her. And I agree with Warren (I love him!), Nick is a lousy husband and not just to Emily :/

It is curious that Emily knew exactly where to dig. The split personality theory isn't so ridiculous... Then again it was Dr Vega who said that and who's to say he can be trusted

Oh Jack, I love the actor who plays him but Jack really is my least favourite character. I'm still convinced that Jack has something to do with it in some way. His feelings seem to go beyond that of sibling rivalry, even siblings who don't get along usually have each others back. I don't know, I think he knew exactly what he was saying when he mentioned Robin Hood. Maybe his resentment drove him to make her disappear.. or if he's not directly involved then he's at least part of something to do with them strip club (what with the briefcase, him giving Emily those flowers "that arrived for her" with the names of the strippers..).

Put under tags because I have a theory which could be spoilery if true, but right now just my wild speculation


I hope Nick and Tommy start to find some evidence that doesn't point at Emily soon

Oh and Alice, I like her again this week (I'm so back and forth ). I feel awful for her, finding out she's possibly pregnant and her husband cheating on her

Emily is so smart and tough, I love watching her figure things out and that phone call to the medical company made me smile

I keep meaning to mention every week but kudos to the make up department for Emily's cut on her forehead especially as we know they shot scenes from multiple episodes on the same days.

I agree on the make-up department But I think they just put it on everyday - this feels like barely any time went by since Emily came back, so it wouldn't be healed off yet.



I agree about not shipping Nick and Emily anymore - he disappointed me too much this week.
Maybe they're too broken to get back together - which is sad in itself, but in general, too.

I don't know what to make of Alice, to be frank - we don't have any info on her. I'm sure they're doing that on purpose.

I love Warren, too, by the way. I hope he won't be disappointed by Emily - if she is indeed sick with a split personality, she might have done something - so... buy yes, like you said, who says Dr. Vega can be trusted?

This show is very entertaining - what ifs and kind of solving those, but at the same time delivering more what ifs or wtfs

-I absolutely LOVE Warren! I was cheering him on in that whole scene. Nick is a lousy husband to Emily and Alice. How do you give up searching after only a year!? So many people have gone missing and were found decades later, being in the FBI and seeing miracles like that makes me wonder how he could just give up?

-Not sure if I trust Dr. Vega or Jack at this point. I didn't think one of the main cast members would be the one who took Emily but I do think Jack may have played a part in it now. There's more too him than just the jealousy, he could've easily been part of it. But then the way Nick was acting this episode and giving up on Emily after only a year whose to say he played no part in it either? She could've been close to figuring something out so he wanted her gone yet not dead, all it takes is to make a deal with a devil .

-Split personality I can see that. MPD usually forms when a person has gone through a traumatic event so she could've split into one or two or more possible personalities while being held captive hence why she doesn't remember much. One personality could've did killings, another was formed to 'protect' Emily from what she was going through and the only way for all of this to come out would be to get the other personalities out...there really is sooo much to this show that keeps us on our toes.

-I'm still in the air on Alice. Apart of me wants to hug her and another part of me wants her gone

-Another thing about Nick being on the hunt for Emily, could we be misunderstanding if he believes her or not? I mean if shes in custody and another killing happens than it couldn't be Emily (if they kept mum about it that is).

-I absolutely loved the water scene.

-We're officially half way through, it's going by so fast. Hopefully these next five episodes things start to look up for Emily, but I'm assuming it'll get worse for her before it gets better.

That’s what’s bugging me too Sandy. He gave up after just one year? I get that she was abducted by a serial killer but surely they’d need some sort of actual proof that she is dead before claiming she is and having a murder trial. Like what evidence did they have that Harlow actually killed Emily, how did they have enough for a conviction?

Someone pointed out on Twitter that Dr Vega has a big picture of those trees in Emily’s vision on his wall in his office which is very intriguing.

And yeah, Alice. I think I’d dislike her more if I was rooting for Nick and Emily which I’m not (at this point anyway) so I guess I’m kind of indifferent to her

And that has me asking aren't Nick and Emily still technically married then? No body or proof of her death, I think in the US its five or seven years missing before they could legally be declared dead. Unless someone sent pictures or something of Emily 'dead'.

I'm not fully rooting for Nick and Emily they've both got a long road of healing ahead of them. I still think there's more to Nick being on the hunt for Emily right now (her being in custody if kept out of the media and another murder happens can clear her name) but only time will tell.

I read on Wikipedia (I know not the best source) that if it is determined that a person was "in peril" when they go missing, the 7 yrs thing can be "overturned". That's what happened to the victims of Sept. 11th. So, maybe there was a body or pictures?

I will make comments on this on Monday. I need another watch.

Hmm that could be it. I know with Haleigh Cummings after a few years the state of Florida was pushing her family to declare her legally dead but it was way longer than only after a year. I'd assume pictures of a body or a body with her DNA or something must've been sent to Nick or someone it'll be intriguing to see how they go about that and why he'd give up after a year if there was no solid proof.

It will be interesting to see just what occurred. I wasn't expecting it to be revealed that he only searched for a year. Something hopefully happened to warrant such a short search time. At least I hope so.
