And by how they were raised, you'd expect Liz to be the 'good' one here because yes, she didn't know who her biological parents were but she was raised with love by Sam. It's a difference to face something like that in comparison to being put out of your life when you are in school already and cut every ties to your old life and be afraid that your father would find you one day and maybe kill you or whatever. She lived in fear ever since they got into witness protection, even left her mom because she was afraid to be found.

And Liz always acted like her childhood as the worst and she had no family. I never got that. Maybe you guys are right and she always blamed Red for Sam. But if that's the case, it would have been nice if the show had mentioned it more often.

Exactly... I never got that either. She knew she was adopted from the beginning which is really good because otherwise if people find out when they are older it's really hard for them to deal with.

She never really showed a problem with how she grew up, Sam loved her so much. It all started later on, out of the blue. It seemed to me as if she had forgotten about what a great father he was.

See, she wouldn't have had to lose her sister, had she stopped her search for the truth a few weeks earlier...

I'm still stuck on the fact that Jennifer was more doing the pushing at first. I guess she started to get cold feet when Liz started going too far.

I guess Jennifer was just shocked. Yes, she wanted to know the truth but the things Liz did made her realize that she actually didn't know her sister at all and that she didn't want to be that person. She was okay with digging in his past, with getting him into prison (which honestly he belongs with all the crimes he committed) but killing other people, being tortured. That wasn't anything she saw coming.
