I don't think she had a cell phone so who could she have called to pick her up???

If it is the mountain man I can see them staying together. They both can use a friend so it seems like a good match.

I don't think she had a phone either and I doubt mountain man has one either so you are probably right that it is the mountain man. I just don't get why she would leave him at first and get in his car afterwards.

I don't know if they are such a good match..

I think she just got a ride with a random person. Some truck from a farm - with straw or something like this.
Also - The Mountain man is a hermit, he going his own way. And (IMHO) he'll respect her decision. I feel like she can come back when she want. But he'll not going to take her back.

I am not sure if mountain man has a car either but would she get into a car with a stranger that easily? And if it is a stranger, that person didn't hesitate whatsoever to stop for her and let her get into the car. Not many people do that so that makes me think she knows the person in the car..

I wonder if Mr kaplan be a part of the show anymore.

If we see Mr Kaplan again I doubt she will have the mountain man with her. If she comes back it's to go after Red or to get in his good graces again.

Since she has already stated how Red would react if he found her alive I am guessing she may stay hidden. Leaving who picked her up a mystery. I am leaning towards a stranger if she is going into hiding.

I think all people in a woody area do the same... Maybe because I'm not American but for me it's OK. In places without cities it's a usual thing if driver stopped and picked up someone. Next car 'll be in many hours... or days... Nobody leaves a human been in such situation.

That's nice that you live in a country where it's safe to help a stranger. It definitely is not over here. That's probably why it is so hard for me to picture anyone stopping to help etc.

Are you kidding? I live in Russia...

Don't take me wrong - it works only in a deep-deep forest. I'll never seat into someone's car in city limit. This can be VERY dangerous, especially cause I'm a woman. But 300 kilometers away from city I'll do it without any suspicion.
Did anybody here live on ... Alaska or somewhere similar? Hope it's the same in all wild places.

I really wonder if Mr. Kaplan will be back and if she is I think she will come back for the reasons that Susana mentioned.
