I miss her, too... The old Kaplan, the one we were introduced to in the first place.

I somehow still wish that Katarina wouldn't have such a grudge against Red. I really don't know if it's justified or not... I hope that she'll be proven wrong at some point. That her grudge was for nothing and completely wrong directed.

So here’s a question. Would you want Kaplan back with the same background of being Lizs nanny and knowing katarina.

Or would you prefer her back story to be something different.

I would want her back with the same background. The way she was before she betrayed Red.

I really wonder what she would have done in this situation with Red and Katarina. Thinking about this makes me so sad she is gone cause I am sure she would have been so amazing in scenes with both Red and Katarina.

I don't have a problem with her being Liz's nanny or the Katarina backstory. I'm okay with it because it explains why she protected Liz all these years. I just want her to see it more clearly that Red isn't the enemy here (And good Lord please let me be right with this.)

But it contradicts everything TPTB always say in interviews... They are sooo focused on reminding us over and over again in those interviews, that he is one of the worst criminals. I hate that. I know he is but there must be a reason he became this person. And I bet Kaplan knew that reason (or maybe she didn't ).

I hate those interviews too. They worry me. I know he’s a bad criminal BUT he’s not inherently bad

Exactly this is my point... I very well know that he is a bad criminal, too. But it's his moral code that somehow makes the day. There is one, gladly. Otherwise we would never get so attached to him in the first place.

Yeah I do. And to have the writers destroy that in the end... I don’t think I would even be able to rewatch the series.

Yes. He would do everything for those who are innocent and for those he cares about.

I hope they won't do that. Why built it up in the first place then?

I think a lot of damage was done with Mr. Kaplan and how she turned against him already. One of the two who were closest to him.
