W E L C O M E T O T H E S E A S O N 1 E P I S O D E 1 -- R E WA T C H T H R E A D -- I wasn't Ready    [X] Sentenced to fifteen months for a crime committed ten years earlier, Piper Chapman leaves her supportive fiance Larry for her new home: a women’s prison. She grapples with the racial dynamics of prison life and learns some of the rules. Unfortunately, she offends Red, the powerful matriarch of the prison kitchen, who responds by serving Chapman a bloody tampon. Chapman is shocked to discover that Alex, her former lover (who recruited her into carrying drug money) is in the same prison. Flashbacks depict the particulars of Chapman’s crime, Chapman telling her family about her crime, and Larry’s marriage proposal. So I'm finally rewtaching
Oh God I love the intro, and that song I'll take you there is just perfect until BAM it just stops and crazy Taystee come in! Rewatching now, after all this time, Piper is even more insufferable  the way she just say there wasn't hot water when I started Taystee NETFLIX PRESENTS... the animals... It's a guilt pig roasting box All this time I thought Pete was just so funny but he's a douche! Polly making Piper's going to prison all about poor her... of course... That bedroom scene is awkward. And here comes the toilet breakdown  The whole Larry/Piper going to prison part is my favorite: the way they approach the facilty like it's another world, also both actors totally sold me this love story I could believe Taylor and Jason are an item! Oh the first officer they encounter is in S2 too  awesome. Piper is so self aware, asking Larry if the officer looked surprised? Like why would a girl like her be in here?? OOh noooo! Larry on the other hand is purrrfect.The whole family meeting scene is hilarious. The grandmother The goodbyes STRIP! I love how the Alex memory just appear! It's how it all started.MORELLO! The way she says who else is gonna do it  I'm off to bed, I'm so tired will finish watching tomorrow! __________________
