I also would like to see her return to neuro again - as a young intern and then resident her most exciting surgeries were definitely neuro. She got a high from them. I think it would show a lot of growth for M/D if their no-neuro agreement didn't matter as much anymore since they're so solid.

But wasnt she a General attending already? And Neuro field should have fellowship training like Peds and Cardio. I dont mind if she does Neuro once in a while. But she is declared general. I dont want her to be wishy washy about it

I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I'm sure doctors are able to pick up specialites with time and training even after becoming an attending. It may take going through a fellowship, but I think that's okay?

Im not sure either, but i dont see her giving the speech as her wanting to be on Neuro, she did that speech for Derek. which is more awesom IMO

Yeah, I wasn't thinking as much about the speech from the last epi. I just know this girl loved herself some brain tumors and subdural hematomas in a majority of the seasons.

She is a natural so it wouldnt be hard to switch if she makes a switch. Though i hope she wont. Like i said i dont mind her doing some neuro procedures but she has made strides as being a general surgeon. Even her research is general related

From what I heard everyone is a General surgeon.. they just have to do a fellowship too.. to be Cardio or Neuro etc..

i guess genral surgeons can have specialty. But not everyone with a specialty can be a general surgeon. that is what i love about Mer's situation.
