He's a doctor too. He was only briefly in season 6, so it's not like he's had a huge part of her story line. I think they just hooked her up with someone so she looked happy at the end. Basically everyone on PP got a happy ending of some sort (which gives me hope for whenever Grey's ends).

I won't be surprised if she'll break up with her boyfriend, if she'll be staying next season.
The little snippets we've gotten from Caterina in her interviews slightly imply that she does, or at least things aren't good between them after this next episode. I know she said we see them on the phone together, and we know she talks to Mer about him at some point as well.
Maybe she mixed it up, and it's next epi.. there wasn't an appropriate time last epi to talk about it.
Yeah, there really wasn't. So she probably mixed it up, so that's why I think it's next episode.
She probably filmed it thinking it will be on eppy 22 but it ended up in eppy 23?
Yeah, maybe, since sometimes they filmed so close together. Also there wasn't a table read for 10x22, so it would've been easy to get confused.
Yes. That can be a factor too.

Can't wait for their scenes :yay:
I liked their scenes, and I like how Meredith didn't get upset when Amelia told her to go back to the sister-in-law who didn't care (so Meredith), and how Amelia commented on how she'd have to spend six hours explaining herself to people back in LA. (She was referring to her intervention I think, although that was definitely a different situation all together...a little over exaggeration on her part, but still funny).
I hope we see Amelia's two cents about this whole ordeal, because it's crazy that Derek thinks Amelia is going to be fine with him and Meredith moving and her staying in Seattle. She's definitely there for her family, and she clearly is in love with her niece and nephew. |
yeah I can't see Amelia being "okay" with them moving to DC
And Caterina said Amelia was learning the importance of family, so I think she'll be hurt by this decision.
You know what is funny with that is she considers her Ocean Wellness more as her family than her own brother. But when she's flaking out on James - she turns to Derek.
She's completely flaking on James, which isn't completely OOC for her. She is known for making spur-of-the-moment decisions based on "feelings" she has.
It's weird that she's just turning to Derek now after all this time. Though he's her big brother, and it was implied that he always looked after her when they were little. He was the one who protected her when their dad was shot. He's always been protective of her, so I guess it makes sense that she'd turn to him for support when she needs to get away from James. She can't really go to Addison with this, because Addison would tell her it's just nerves or whatever and it's normal and she'll be fine. I guess that's what she was talking about when she told Mer she'd have to explain more to her Ocean Wellness group. Mer and Der haven't really questioned her about James, nor have they told her that she's wrong for doubting their relationship. They're letting her make decisions for herself. Meredith and Derek really aren't judgmental, and that's what's so great about them. I could definitely see Addison telling Amelia she's being foolish for flaking on James. Though Meredith and Derek were also being a little selfish because they wanted Amelia for their own benefit (and now they're talking about leaving anyway??? So Amelia moving to Seattle technically wouldn't benefit them at all. It would benefit GSMH, though). |
They were. They only see Amelia as someone who can help them with their "balance issues"
