I mean, I'm happy that I get GA an hour early, but I definitely don't think the time change will be good for ratings because of all the competition. A lot of good shows are in that time slot.

All three of Shonda's shows are on Thursday. That's why Grey's got pushed back, because it's the only show semi-appropriate for the time slot, and they can't put a new show in it anyway. They needed a show with an established fan base.

Though I don't think censorship should be an issue. Bones and TVD have way more violence, blood, and gore than Grey's does, and they both air in that time slot. TVD also has sexy scenes that are equal to Grey's, so I don't think there's anything they can't show on Grey's in that time slot. Shonda's already addressed that she has no intention on censoring Grey's or Scandal. If anything will need censoring, it's Scandal. There were a few times I almost lost my cookies watching Scandal...
