she turned 1 in season 8 (8x12, started walking in 8x11 so I assume it's the first birthday), so she should be 5 by now

You can't really tell with Grey's, but if Zola is just 5 years old, they did a crappy job casting a girl who looks much older. Even for Bailey.

Yes, but if the new Zola is 7 she would look a lot older than Sofia even though they are supposed to be the same age.
