If the visuals are as awesome as the script suggests, and the character well done, they could even pull off a predictable plot/resolution, but I do hope changes were made to that.

They are going to have to do some serious work on the visual/style of this movie. There's a new king of horror in town. Has anyone seen the new tv series Penny Dreadful? Holy cow, talk about a Victorian horror setting. That show is going to be the litmus test for any show/movie that comes after. If CP comes even close to what PD is doing in style and scares, it will do alright.

I'm watching PD and LOVING it, but I don't find it that scary/original..? (I did love the Frankestein reveal at the very end of the pilot, that was intense) That's why I think style, direction and really vibrant characters as brought to life by the actors can make the difference more than plot/concept.

Been looking at pictures of Jessica attending the Foxcatcher premiere at Cannes. The wind really helped make her dress dramatic.
