It's not fair to only have them in Europe. A lot of Americans can't afford to go to Europe.

I do think it's sort of true that would explain the fact that Reign is doing better online than with tv ratings. The poll about which country would we like a convention had US, Italy, Spain and Idk what other country and there were still more Italian fans than US.. also look at all the IG accounts... most of them are not from US you can notice bc of their english when you see the comments and captions

The end result of that poll was 38% italy and 37% US. It was pretty damn close. And that is a very skewed sample. Not everyone aees those polls.

And just because the American fans don't have fan accounts, doesn't mean they dont watch. Fan accounts for a lot of shows are usually not American. Not just for Reign.

The fact is that an european country won the polland there were like almost 600 people who votes that's not little... the first convention was organized in Europe and there will be a 2nd one because it was very successful in europe..also Idk about other shows but all the european fan accounts are dedicated fans who are most likely willing to pay a lot to attend a convention that's why it work in Paris and nobody ever thought of doing one in US. This all together pretty much makes me believe that Reign has more non US fans. If I find the article I will post it here, I read once that Reign is more watched online than on tv Bc of the non us fans that's why the ratings suck.

I think if they chose the right city, it could definitely be worth it to do a convention here in the US. 1% percent seems pretty close to me. And like Amanda said, those polls can be a skewed sample because not everyone sees them. I don't think I remember seeing the poll you're talking about or voting in it. Bummer.

It's clear that Reign does have a lot of non-US fans, though - and very dedicated ones at that.

Its always worth it. Creation entertainment has been doing cons since the 90s. They cater to what fans want. They said they were stopping the Xena cons for years, but fans kept asking so they kept doing them. They only stopped like 2 years ago. The more mail they get the better.
