In 1x10, Sacrifice, at around the 11:56 mark, Bash is talking about sending Isobel to somewhere safe and when Mary asks where is safe, Bash mentions that he sent word to his other cousins in Bernay. That's where I got the reference. I didn't make it up. I thoroughly researched it before using it in my fic.
