I saw this thread while we were on Hiatus on other boards and thought how we could have used a rant thread back then in S2

so I thought it's never too late since I saw we talk a lot about the things we dislike about the show on other threads as well and go a little bit off-topic ...

so here a possibility... to rant over who/whatever

How about how a lot of the characters are from France, but not one has a French accent or has even spoken French once?

The throwaway plots.
Example: The Red Knights

They disappear with one line as soon as another plot serves their purpose better.
"it's been weeks since our forces crushed the Red Knights." So why couldn't their forces crush the Red Knights earlier?

I hate how there are SOO MANY characters right now. There are really too many people... and I feel like they keep bringing more

I hate their promotion... the promo sucks... ReignWriters woke up this week and are actually tweeting and promoting ... I'm sure they will disappear again

I have to agree with everything that's been said so far. For me, the Mary/Conde affair and how it came about is still the most offensive thing that's happened on this show. It blew up our fandom and we've been fighting to rebuild it ever since. Just horrible and unnecessary.

True, there is no better rant generator than Mary/Conde. Still highly rantable two year later. So offensive to millions of Frary hearts in the world.

I did say in my comments on A Grain of Deception that Gideon was supplanting Bash as the sheriff for the monarch, but they added to his similarities with Bash the romance with Mary. Rehash of plots is never good. I liked Gideon as a character at first but he's lost is purpose. Again much like Bash. The parallels continue.

I was just watching season 1 and when Bash kills one of the pagans in the woods and says something alone the lines "Now the thirst is in you" and then bash kills the jailer. Like does that thirst go away with only 1 kill, cause I was confused.

I think what he said was just meant to get to Bash's insecurities in that final moment. I don't think he ever actually had any "thirst"

I also feel like the red knights storyline wasn't really done well and it didn't end in an interesting way I mean not all of them are dead.. would the rest of them not still want revenge?
