I do think Narcisse truly changed. And I think he will be a different man in S4. I still want someone for Catherine where we can say "ah look this guy came and he always wanted her and picked her and not oh look there's Narcisse who actually was with Lola and now Lola is dead and he is gonna be with Catherine now after his wife died." I mean... I don't know I just prefer someone else. I wouldn't mind Catcisse if they do it right but a new guy would be perfect

Exactly Issi. He chose Lola over Catherine. If they got together now I feel like he'd just be with her for sloppy seconds and that's not right.

I get what you ladies are saying. I do. But I do believe that Narcisse is changing. At the end of Season 3, he was risking his life for France. He was putting the needs of others ahead of his own. I think that's hopeful.

I really don't think Narcisse "chose" Lola over Catherine - he "settled" for her (for lack of a better term). With Lola, I think he was captivated by the chase. She was a prize he wanted to win - a dream. I believe Narcisse loved Lola and cared for her, but even he knew that just being near Catherine was enough to destroy that. His attraction and pull towards Catherine never went away.

I will just be disappointed if they don't follow through on what they showed us in Catcisse's final scenes in Season 3. But I agree that they have to do it the right way. They have to build it up in a way that shows us that Catherine is his FIRST choice.

Nope. He did definitely choose Lola. There is no question there. He chose he more than once. The sexual attraction he held for Catherine had nothing to do with romantic feelings. When he said being near her was putting his marriage in danger, he was just making it obvious that he thinks with his little Narcisse. As for him risking his life...that has nothing to do with it. It was for France, not for a person. He is still selfish and gets others into trouble just by being near them.
