It can be hard when you're a fan of the private types who aren't real into the publicity side of the gig. Personally, I respect Toby for being more into the acting then the rest of it, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see his face more, or read another of his fabulously entertaining interviews.

Seriously, it's like with Megan, I respect them for being so private and not into social media that much, it makes me admire them and how they want privacy and respect for their personal life.. but then I see other fans who get lot of tweets, pics, interviews of their favs and I'm just sad

Ok...so I have been trying my best to pull together the Best / Epic Francis Moments Survivor, but things have been crazy with getting ready for Christmas, etc. So...I haven't gotten too far. Plus...I really need help deciding exactly what should be included...

Here's what I have to start with. Obviously...I have WAY too many right now. I included some that are more "Frary" - so let me know which ones you think are appropriate to include. PLEASE let me know what can be left out and any important/powerful scenes that I'm missing..

Season 1

Feathers! (Pilot)
Sparring with Henry to gain troops for Scotland (1x03)
Kissing Mary for the first time (1x03)
Archery contest / Target Practice (1x04)
Killing Tomas (1x04)
Offering himself to Count Vincent as ransom (1x07)
Escaping his room and leading everyone to safety during the siege / Returning to rescue Mary and the others trapped in the castle (1x07)
Proposal to Mary (1x08)
Running after Mary and Bash (1x08)
Long may you reign / a.k.a. “Francis out” (1x09)

Francis killing Antoine’s guard and convincing the King of Navarre to sign away his family’s claim to the French throne. (3x03)
Francis seeing the tree from Nostradamus' vision and realizing that he will lose his life, but rushing to protect Mary from the assassins anyway. (3x05)

Maybe we could think of a way to make it more specific or narrow it down? We could do just Season 1, and then do a separate survivor for Season 2 and 3 moments?

Francis steps in to prevent Henry from killing Bash. (1x18)

Francis defends Mary to Henry as a queen and an ally. (1x19)

Francis defends Mary to Narcisse. (2x03)

Splitting them into separate seasons is a good idea, but it's going to be really interesting trying to choose survivors, no matter how they are grouped.

One more possibility: when Francis uses the Cardinal's love for his cleric to encourage him to leave France.

YES! I definitely think we should include that, Stephen. And his quote in that scene is so poignant and beautiful.

I think splitting them up by season seems like the best plan. What can be cut out of (or added to) the Season 1 moments?

Well, the good part of splitting them up by season is that we get to keep Francis' spirit around that much longer.

Although, s3 might be a little thin?

Side note- we're getting sort of close to a new thread. Any title ideas?

Yeah, that's why I was thinking we could just combine the Season 2 and 3 moments into one survivor?

Gosh, I don't know about a title... Should we try to use a quote from Francis? Or make up some sort of memorial? I'm just not creative.

This quote might be appropriate as we remember all of the amazing moments Toby and Francis have given us.

“I don't know how much time we have left. But every moment matters. It always did, I just didn't... I didn't see it before.” ~ Francis

That may be more of a Frary quote, though?
