I thought he has been given new lands as well, but maybe not?
It makes sense if he wants to stay close to Francis. It just seems like a kind of low position for someone with land. |

I think that they just can't keep everything straight themselves.
Also I think if they want to advance a plot they sometimes change a character or try to rewrite the past. |
